Terms of Use for Discover

Version 1, as of 15 October 2026

1. Provider and scope

Discover at discover.funneleconomics.ai (hereinafter “Discover”) is operated by smidCo Systems GmbH, Roeckstraße 46, 23568 Lübeck, Germany, registered in the commercial register of the Local Court (Amtsgericht) of Lübeck under HRB 26451, represented by the managing director, Dr. Kerstin Smid (hereinafter “we”). Contact: kontakt@funneleconomics.ai.

These terms apply to registration for and use of Discover. By registering, you agree to them. Terms of the user that deviate from them do not apply.

Discover is aimed at persons who deal professionally with sales, sales management or revenue planning.

2. What Discover is

Discover is a demonstration of the Funnel Economics method using recorded data from a demonstration organisation. The figures, names and histories shown are demonstration data; they do not originate from your company and are not a statement about your company.

Discover is free of charge. It is not advice, not a forecast for your business and does not replace your own review. Decisions that you make on the basis of Discover are made on your own responsibility.

We provide Discover as far as we are able. There is no entitlement to availability, to particular functions or to continuation. We may change, restrict or discontinue Discover at any time. Where possible, we will announce a discontinuation 30 days in advance by email to the address of your account.

3. Account

To use Discover, you create an account. For this we need an email address, your first name, your company, your role and your country. The details must be accurate.

Sign-in takes place without a password via a one-time code that we send to your email address. You are responsible for ensuring that only you have access to this mailbox, and you do not pass on one-time codes. An account is personal; one account per person is intended.

You can delete your account at any time on the account page. What is deleted and what we keep as a record is set out in the Privacy Policy.

4. Permitted use

You use Discover for yourself and your company in order to get to know the method. The following is not permitted:

Please report security vulnerabilities to security@funneleconomics.ai instead of exploiting them.

5. Answers from the language model

Part of the content in Discover is recorded in advance. If you ask a follow-up question of your own, it is answered by a language model of a third-party provider. These answers are generated by machine, may be incomplete or wrong and are not advice. We do not review them in advance.

Follow-up questions are limited in number, per account and for Discover as a whole. When the limit is reached, Discover shows prepared content instead of new answers and states the time from which follow-up questions are possible again.

Which data are sent to the provider of the language model in this process is set out in the Privacy Policy.

6. Rights to content

Discover, its texts, presentations, the demonstration data and the Funnel Economics method are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. You may use content from Discover, including the answers of the language model, for your own professional use and within your company, also in extracts and screenshots, with reference to the source. Publishing or passing on the demonstration as a whole or in substantial parts, commercial exploitation and use for training models are not permitted.

You retain all rights to your follow-up questions. We do not store their text.

7. Beta enquiry

Through Discover you can register interest in the Funnel Economics beta. The enquiry is non-binding, does not establish any entitlement to participate and is not a contract about the beta. For participation, we conclude separate terms.

8. Data protection

Which data we process at registration, sign-in, use and with follow-up questions, how long we store them and which service providers are involved is set out in our Privacy Policy, section Discover. The Privacy Policy is not part of these terms but information.

9. Suspension and termination

You can end your use at any time by deleting your account.

We may suspend or delete your account if you breach section 4, if your details are inaccurate or if your account endangers the operation of Discover. Where reasonable, we will inform you by email beforehand and give you the opportunity to comment. We delete accounts that have not been used for a longer period after prior notice; the periods are set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

Discover is free of charge. We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, for damage based on intent or gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). Otherwise, we are liable only for the breach of an obligation whose fulfilment makes the use of Discover possible in the first place and on whose observance you were entitled to rely, and then limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Any further liability is excluded, in particular for decisions that you make on the basis of content from Discover, for outages and for loss of data insofar as you could have avoided it by exporting.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms if Discover, the legal situation or our service providers change. We will inform you of a new version at your next sign-in and ask for your renewed consent. Without consent you cannot continue to use Discover; your account remains in place and can be deleted. We record the version to which you consented, with its date.

12. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. If you are a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law (öffentlich-rechtliches Sondervermögen), the place of jurisdiction is Lübeck. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply; mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

We do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and are not obliged to do so.

These terms are available in German and English. In the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.

Should any provision be invalid, the remainder remains valid.
